Short characteristics of the Mini Bio B boiler
 

Mini Bio B is based on Kostrzewa's flagship product - Mini Bio boiler, which is on sale from 2010.
 

The device is made of four parts. The innovative, the smallest on the market, Mini Bio B boiler for burning pellets and oats1 is a new "look in Poland and Europe" for the automatic burning of solid fuels. The use of fuel pellets with a diameter of 6 to 8 mm, or substitute grain (oats), during combustion retain low parameters of fumes and thus meet environmental standards in the European Union. The Mini Bio B boiler is an optimal device designed for installation in residential buildings, in which boiler rooms occupy very little space or do not exist at all. The surfaces of heated residential buildings can range from 50-300 m2 (2).

The first part is a round steel heat exchanger, highly efficient flame-retardant. Thanks to the design of the 3T method (time, turbulator, temperature), the exchanger is very small. It is made of high quality P265GH boiler steel, 4-5 mm thick.
The second part is the Platinum Bio3 burner, which can burn pellets with a thickness of 6-8 mm, and in the additional option also grains (oats) (1). The construction elements of the burner are made of heat-resistant steel H25N20S2, withstanding temperatures up to 1150oC. Thanks to the automatic Fuzzy Logic II generation modulation, as well as energy-saving elements, the burner consumes much less energy during operation and burns about 20% less fuel than other boilers available on the Polish market. The third part is a tank that is connected to the exchanger by means of a feeding set. It can be placed in various configurations (eg right or left). The capacity of the standard tank is 295l. Optional capacities: 203; 296; 470; 770; 1386 [L].
The fourth part is the controller for the entire building heating system. It was designed for people who appreciate the ease of use and clear menu, and at the same time a high degree of structural and technological advancement.
The boiler meets class A + energy efficiency - the highest possible class for devices that are not condensing devices.

Boilers from the Mini Bio series are placed on the German BAFA list, thus allowing obtaining subsidies for their users in Germany.

The fact of meeting the qualification requirements imposed by BAFA confirms that Mini Bio boilers meet the highest ecological, energy and construction standards.

Advantages

The main advantage of the Mini Bio B boiler is its small size and simple operation, consisting of filling the main tank with fuel and pressing the START button. Messages are displayed on the large graphic display. Within a few minutes, the device will automatically ignite, automatically selects the operating parameters and also strives to maintain a constant temperature in the rooms and hot tap water.

The only work to be done at the Mini Bio B boiler is to fill the main tank with a capacity of 295l with fuel every 3 - 14 days4 and to select ash from the burner and boiler c.o.

The Platinum Bio controller is a modern microprocessor system that controls not only the boiler but also the central heating system and hot utility water. The power of the blower is smoothly regulated by the 2nd generation Fuzzy Logic.
 
The boiler's heart is the boiler controller. A specialized electronic system, which is responsible not only for maintaining a constant boiler temperature through appropriate dosing of fuel and air, but also controlling the operation of the entire heating system of the building, including: heat buffer, solar system and 16 additional heating circuits.

The first in Poland automatic burner power modulation based on the Fuzzy Logic 2nd generation technology - reducing the amount of fuel burned by approx. 20% and reducing the consumption of electricity.

2. Remote operation with the controller (can supervise the boiler operation and change settings from anywhere in the house).

3. autonomous work (allows to set SMS notifications about significant changes in the work of sensors).

cooperation with the INTERNET module - enables remote access to current information about the heating system and its parameters through the 4pellet.net internet service through any device with an internet browser.
 

The website offers additional functions:

1. Analytical tools in the form of charts:

- General diagram - presents the work of all the most important elements of the heating system. It has options for displaying only selected elements, the ability to select date range and setting the accuracy of drawing samples even every 10 seconds.

- Solars chart - surely every user of this technology is interested in how much energy he obtained in a given year, month or day. The system will additionally calculate the financial gain obtained thanks to solar energy.

- Fuel consumption graph - as in the case of the solar chart, archival data on the boiler's fuel consumption is shown along with the cost for each year, month and day.

2. E-mail notification of new alarms: Each alarm of the controller is immediately sent to the e-mail address indicated by the user.

3. Providing heating systems: one account can be assigned an unlimited number of heating systems - own and other users who have made their heating system available. There are three types of permissions: owner, serviceman, observer.
