- There are practices of the boiler being commissioned for the first time by a plumbing or pseudo-service installer - says the head of the Service Department at Przedsiębiorstwo KOSTRZEWA, Wojciech Miara. - I strongly advise against this because of the boiler's safety and its optimal operation. Our devices are very technologically advanced, therefore they will not be able to work fully without proper setting.
KOSTRZEWA has built the largest network of national technical service in the biomass boiler industry. Cooperates with thoroughly trained professionals whose qualifications are confirmed by a periodic authorization exam. All this makes the technician have the highest qualifications to start the boiler c.o.
During the first boiler start, lasting from 3 to 4 hours, the service technician has the following tasks:
1. Correctly set the device parameters: feeding, air supply, power regulation. All this so that the fuel is burned in a total, optimal and economical way. There must be no excessive heating of the chimney. At start-up, an exhaust gas analyzer is used to correct emissions and to achieve an optimal environmental effect.
2. Train the client in the area of safe and comfortable use of the device.
3. Check the correctness of the hydraulic, ventilation and electrical connection.
Customers usually ask a lot of questions. A well trained technician will respond to all. The current KOSTRZEWY service system is to serve the convenience of the user - in the past the owner of the device filled out the warranty card and sent it back to the manufacturer, it is now the duty of the service technician to independently run the warranty procedure. The guarantee is confirmed by the Service Department after confirming the full compliance of the boiler number and the service technician's authorization. Later, the boiler user can register in the client area of the www.serwis.kostrzewa.com.pl platform, which is designed to improve contact with the service, create a device history and remind about upcoming inspections.
KOSTRZEWY's service technicians are not anonymous. They have been provided with identity cards containing basic personal data and information about authorization.
